J3 (13 and 14 year olds with YOB 1998-1997): This age group covers all aspects of ski racing - mental preparation, physical training, and on-snow technique and tactics. This program is geared toward more serious racers who want to compete at a higher level. On snow training begins when Brundage Mountain opens until it closes. Off snow and physical conditioning may vary depending upon coaches guidance. Ski races vary, but usually require more traveling than in the J4/J5 program.
Morning Training Group (MTG): $2,255
Afternoon Training Group (ATG): $1,155
Weekend Training Group (WTG): $825
Boydstun-Hovdey Ski Heritage Scholarship available.
Note: The scholarship can cover coaching fees, season passes, and equipment.

J3 Parent Meeting
Where: MSRT ARC; Alpine Racing Center
When: Sunday, November 6th 10:00am to 12:00 noon.
Why: We will go over all the details of the J3 program. Travel, training, racing, goals, and expectations
J3 athletes wishing to participate in USSA events need to have their USSA Competitor License. This license is the primary USSA membership for athletes 13 and older (based on December 31 age) who want entry into the full range of USSA competitions and scoring on USSA ranking lists. This membership is required for athletic advancement in this older age group. This license needs to be purchased before October 15th. This USSA License in $140.00
J3 athletes wishing to participate in USSA events needs to also have their IMD Alpine Competitor membership. The cost is $50.00. The cost goes to $65.00 if purchased after October 15th.
