Boydstun-Hovdey Ski Heritage Scholarship Application will be posted this fall.
This scholarship is for kids from both Valley and Adams County who desire to experience the wonderful sport of alpine ski racing as a member of MSRT. This year scholarship applications will be accepted from athletes ages 6-18. Selection will be based on financial need as well as interest & commitment to the sport of alpine ski racing. The scholarship has the opportunity to cover items such as: coaching fees, season passes, and equipment. The level of scholarship will be determined on a case by case basis.
We encourage all local 6-18 year olds with an interest in alpine ski racing to complete the attached application form. The application deadline for the 2009-10 ski racing season is November 1st. We will announce the Scholarship recipients on November 15th.

A great way to recycle old equipment is to donate it to the BH scholarship. The donor will get a tax deduction and the equipment will then be given/sold to another athlete who can put it to good use. All proceeds from the sale will go the the BH Scholarship fund. If anyone is looking to donate or buy used equipment for the upcoming season, they can contact Nancy. The BH "garage" has a lot of available equipment available including helmets, jackets, skis and boots. A great way to save money and help the BH fund.
